The City of Claremont and the Claremont Village Marketing Group are proud to announce the City of Claremont’s Holiday Promenade and Tree Lighting Ceremony. This event will take place in the Claremont Village on Friday, December 1, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with the Tree Lighting Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. at the Depot and pictures with Santa from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at City Hall.
During the event, Village businesses participating as Cheer Stops will be providing free holiday treats and deals. Participating businesses will have balloons and a special poster on display to indicate their participation. Maps listing all participating locations will be available at City Hall and at the City of Claremont booth at the Depot.
This year’s entertainment will include performances by Dynamite Dawson, the Moultrie Academy, the CHS band, holiday carolers, and a visit from Santa. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera to take a priceless photo of their little ones with Santa Claus outside of City Hall from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
